Bio

Born on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Sam Knight found a love for country music at age six during a short trip to Idaho with his father. By eight years old, he picked up his first acoustic guitar, and hasn't stopped playing since.

After years of training with a former Nashville songwriter, Demetrius Becrelis, Sam decided to attend the University of Georgia in Athens. Influenced heavily by the work of John Mayer, Aerosmith, and Kenny Chesney, the mix of genre subtly pokes through in his writing and his live performances. Shortly after starting as a freshman at the University of Georgia, Sam was asked to join a band to fill an hour long set performing at Sweetwater 420 Fest in Atlanta.
